JRC specializes in providing biological surveys, habitat and population assessments, and consultation for threatened, endangered, and sensitive plant and animal species. Extensive wildlife surveys have been conducted by our biologists for nesting birds, northern spotted owls, Pacific fisher, willow flycatcher, northern goshawk, foothill yellow-legged frog, Cascade frog and various other amphibians in addition to in-depth botanical field surveys for rare plant species and communities. The primary goal of our biological department is to assist clients with obtaining the proper permits and ensuring that all federal, state, and local environmental regulations are adhered to.

Adam Nemec is our senior wildlife biologist with over 12 years of experience surveying and overseeing projects throughout the pacific northwest. Our lead botanist, Amy Rachkowski also has over 12 years of field experience and is extremely familiar with California and Oregon’s plant communities. They have both worked together on numerous projects since 2009.
